Ang Xiao

Dr. Ang Xiao is the technical lead of AI for materials science at SandboxAQ. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Rhode Island. Boasting over 20 years in the industrial realm of battery materials, his expertise encompasses battery materials, advanced analytical techniques, AI and simulations. Dr. Xiao championed the development of Li-TFSI at 3M Company, a prevalent electrolyte salt and additive, generating over $200 million in sales over the last decade. He published 40 papers and 17 patent applications in the field of materials, AI and simulations.
